Attorney Roger Hyman of Knoxville; bully, serial offender

The state of Tennessee provided Roger David Hyman with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Roger guilty of the following misconduct.

Roger’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Violated several orders of protection re: divorce/custody matters
• Found in contempt of court
• Spent several days in jail per court order

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Roger by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Roger’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Grabbed the arm of an Assistant District Attorney
• Blocked Assistant DA’s entrance to the courtroom

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Roger by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

Roger’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Threatened incarceration while taking parties deposition
• Engaged in conduct specifically aimed at embarrassing another person

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Roger by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
