Judge John Trice of San Louis Obispo, CA; lying deadbeat

The state of California presented John Alexander Trice with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.

The California Commission on Judicial Performance has charged Johnny with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in willful misconduct
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct bringing judicial office into disrepute
• Failed to notify ex-wife Dawna of receipt of Air Force pension payments
• Deposited Dawna’s share of Air Force pension into account not in her name
• Lied that Commissioner Perry advised him not to pay Dawna her court-ordered share of Air Force pension
• Failed to withdraw form cases involving defense attorney David Hurst who was a close personal friend for nearly 30 years in cases he appeared in Johnny’s court
• Failed to disclose personal relationship with attorney David Hurst to opposing counsel and/or other interested parties

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Johnny by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the California Supreme Court.

As we speak (November 2015), Johnny remains sitting as a San Louis Obispo County Superior Court judge in San Louis Obispo, California.
