Attorney H. Dyke Spear Jr. of West Hartford, CT; cheating repeater

The state of Connecticut provided H. Dyke Spear Jr. with a law license in 1960 after he graduated from the University of Bridgeport Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Spear guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide client with detailed fee charges
• Charged client an unreasonable fee (cheater)
• Failed to refund unearned portion of advance fee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Spear by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Spear’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Spear practices at 141 Wood Pond Road in West Hartford, Connecticut.
