Judge Donna McDaniel of Pittsburgh, PA; nepotistic loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Donna Jo McDaniel with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School.

Donna is a dyed-in-the-wool believer in nepotism. Prior to ascending to the Allegheny County Common Pleas Court, two of Donna’s daughter and two of her sons had jobs in the Common Pleas Court.

After her two daughters received promotions, Donna had the chutzpah to hire the nephew of her friend to fill a court vacancy.

Apparently, Donna plays the Sly and the Family Stone song “Family Affair” while sitting on the bench, which goes something like this.

It’s a family affair, it’s a family affair

It’s a family affair, it’s a family affair

Three children grow up to be

Somebody loving government pork

And another child grows up to be

Somebody that’s a total dork

Mom loves all of them

You see we’re all in the mode

All the kids are beholden to Mom

Bloods thicker than the ethics code

It’s a wonder that Donna hasn’t hired all of her son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, cousins and every other family member to work at the court. If she did, they would likely have to rename the court, The McDaniel Court of Common Pleas.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Donna remains sitting as the President Judge of the Allegheny Court of Common Pleas in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
