Attorney Jon Thomas of Houston, TX; cheating loser

The state of Texas presented Jon Phillip Thomas with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to communicate with a client
  • Failed to return unearned fee (cheater)
  • Practiced law in a jurisdiction where not authorized
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)

As one would suspect, this was not Johnny’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) fully probated suspensions and one partially probated suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Johnny practices his brand of law at 14402 Little Willow Walk in Houston, Texas.
