Attorney Donald Donovan of Dallas, GA; ethical troll

The state of Georgia presented Richard Donovan with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the Woodrow Wilson College of Law.

A grand jury recently (ca. February 2021), indicted Donnie for engaging in the following criminal conduct.

  • Charged with bribery for dropping charges against the client of a prosecutor in a neighboring county in the hopes of influencing the prosecutor’s decision in a pending case
  • Charged with false swearing and violation of oath of public office
  • Donnie dropped charges in bid to get criminal charges dropped against one of his employees
  • Donnie accused of making false statements when he denied having said he wanted to have sex with the employee and describing fantasies about her
  • Employee in Donnie’s office has sued him for alleged sexual harassment
  • Jamie White, Paulding County’s victim-witness coordinator, stated that Donnie kissed her and said he loved her and wanted to have sex

All that remains now is to see how long it takes before Donnie cops a plea in order to reduce the amount of time he’ll be spending roomed up with Clarice (real name Clarence) who is rumored to be a really friendly kind of guy at the Georgia State Prison in Reidsville, Georgia.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Donnie continues to practice his brand of law as the Paulding County District Attorney in Dallas, Georgia.
