Justice Rogelio Valdez of El Paso; bullying loser

The state of Texas presented Rogelio Valdez with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

Rogelio succeeded in duping the voters in the greater El Paso area into electing him to a seat on the Thirteenth District Court of Appeals in November 2000.

Rogelio has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-two years (1983 to 2015). Had it not been for a government check, Rogelio may well have been relegated to working as a low paid public defender.

In late 2014, Judge Valdez was sued for allegedly retaliating against a staff attorney who claimed Valdez intervened to black him from working for another judge on the appellate court after the attorney sent a letter raising concerns about Valdez’s potential financial improprieties.

The former court of appeals staff attorney Bruce Anderson, said in his lawsuit that Judge Valdez was motivated to retaliate against him after he reported Valdez to ethics authorities about his double-billing for travel reimbursements.

When Mr. Anderson was offered a job to work for Justice Gregory Perkes, the offer was withdrawn at the insistence of Valdez.

All that’s left now is to see when Valdez the Bully cops a plea and offers to settle Mr. Anderson’s claims against him.

As we speak (October 2015), Justice Valdez continues to sit as the Chief Justice on the Thirteenth Court of Appeals in El Paso, Texas.
