Attorney Jay Chatarpaul of North Bergen, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented Jay Jason Chatarpaul with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the State University of New York SUNY) Buffalo Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Jay guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, letters were sent to a client regarding the payment of legal fees implying that confidences and privileged info would be used against the client by Jay unless payment was made.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Jay by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Jay practices with the Chatarpaul Law Offices PC at 7912 River Road in North Bergen, New Jersey.
