Attorney Diane Sullivan of Princeton, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey presented Diane P. Sullivan with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of Pennyslvania Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics and Grievance Committee found Diane guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Judge Carol Higbee of State Superior Court reprimanded Diane for engaging in the following misconduct regarding a lawsuit involving Merck and its painkiller Vioxx.

  • Violated pretrial orders barring comments about lawyers in front of the jury
  • Made repeated negative references about lawyers in her opening statement despite the fact she had been ordered to not so act

As a consequence of her misconduct, Judge Higbee reprimanded Diane.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Diane practices 902 Carnegie Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
