Solicitor Leslie Somerville of Scotland; ethical gremlin

The Law Society of Scotland presented Leslie Wilson Somerville with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School. 

The Council of the Law Society of Scotland found Leslie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Repeatedly failed to maintain surplus on client account
• Failed to properly maintain written books re: financial position of practice
• Failed to maintain proper list of client balances
• Failed to produce surplus statements
• Failed to maintain accurate record of client invested funds
• Failed to carry out required reconciliations of client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Leslie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Leslie practices at 7A Mayne Avenue, Bridge of Allan, Scotland.
