Attorney Shannon Fitzpatrick of Minneapolis; repeat offender

 

The state of Minnesota presented Shannon M. Fitzpatrick with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

 

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Shannon guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Shannon’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to maintain required trust account books
  • Failed to promptly transfer client funds into her trust account

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Shannon by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Shannon’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Misconduct took place while Shannon was on disciplinary probation
  • Cut and pasted client’s signature to a stipulation order
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Improperly notarized client’s cut and pasted signature to stipulation order
  • Filed sham document with trial court
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

 

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Shannon by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

 

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Shannon practices in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
