• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Improperly wrote checks on trust account payable to cash
• Made improper disbursements from trust account to third parties
• Failed to identify bank account holding funds belonging to another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Cynthia by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license.

Cynthia’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

Cynthia found it acceptable to charge a client an excessive fee by billing him 50% of a settlement of $35,000 regarding her representation of a client that filed a lawsuit involving a breach of contract claim against the Archdiocese of New York.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Johnny by gifting her with a complimentary cautionary letter.
