Does LA Mayor Tony Villaraigosa suffer from ethical atrophy?

It is undisputed that Los Angeles Mayor Tony Villaraigosa has dedicated his political career to the total avoidance of engaging in ethical conduct.

In his prior life, Tony Villaraigosa attended UCLA and received an undergraduate degree in history. Shortly thereafter, he attended the “Peoples College of Law,” an unaccredited law school in LA.

Being labeled by the ABA as an unaccredited law school is akin to the International Institute of Culinary Education refusing to accredit the Jeffrey Dahmer School of Culinary Arts located in Milwaukee.

Even though the “Peoples College of Law” isn’t accredited or recognized by the State Bar of California, it allows the ignoramuses that attend to take the State Bar Exam. Tony the Moron took the test four (4) times and flunked each and every time, thereby solidifying his exalted status as a certified dumbass. As a result, Tony decided his only hope to earn a dishonest living would be to enter into politics, which he did when he duped LA voters into electing him to the State Assembly.

Tony charged with ethics violation for accepting 81 tickets to concerts/Lakers games

In June 2010, a formal ethics investigation of Villaraigosa was undertaken due to his unreported acceptance of at least 81 tickets to concerts, award ceremonies and sporting events, which included the following:
  • 13 courtside tickets to Lakers games valued at $3,100 each ($39,000)
  • Academy Award tickets valued at $21,000 each
  • Governor’s Ball tickets valued at $21,000 each
Mayor Villaraigosa’s So-Called Defense

In a lame attempt at levity, Mayor Villaraigosa laughingly defended his unethical conduct by claiming that he was performing mayoral duties at each of these events. Give me a break Tony! Attending Lakers games or the Academy Awards is an official duty of the LA Mayor? Obviously, Tony missed his calling as a stand-up comedian.

Mayor Villaraigosa’s ongoing unethical conduct is in keeping with the manner in which he defrauded California’s taxpayers in 2000 by illegally billing over $10,000 for fuel during his unsuccessful run for May or LA. Tony perpetrated this scam by claiming the $10,000 related to official state business while he was a state representative. For irrefutable evidence that Tony is a big time scammer I would invited you to review the article and URL listed below, which speaks for itself. FYI: Tony, in legal jargon it’s called “res ipsa loquitor” (means the documents peaks for itself), something I’m sure they didn’t teach you at “The People’s Law School” in LA.

Conclusion

Luckily for Californians, Tony the Louse was forced to withdraw his candidacy to become California’s next Governor. One can only imagine the amount of outright thievery that would have occurred had Tony been elected to replace the Terminator.

One has to really question the intellectual acumen of the voters in Los Angeles that went about voting this loser as its Mayor. I guess it only proves that possessing a modicum of ethics, honest and/or intelligence is not a disqualifier to being Mayor of the City of Angels.

And finally, would it be fair to dedicated scumbags who have dedicated their careers to ripping-off the public to refer to Mayor Tony Villaraigosa as a “scumbag?”
