Rep. Steve King (IA) Today’s “Humanitarian” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Stevie. In the past, he has been the recipient of sixteen (1) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
In yet another monumental waste of precious federal dollars, Speaker of the House John “Mr. Inept” Boehner allowed the house to vote on defunding Planned Parenthood despite the fact that he absolutely knew if passed by the Senate it would be vetoed by President Obama.
During the debate on the worthless legislation, Rep. Steve King decided to toss a little red meat to his intellectually infirm followers by voting “present.”
Steve the Humanitarian objected to the legislation because it would allow an abortion in cases of rape and incest. As an upstanding Family Values kind of guy, Stevie believes that if a feller impregnates his daughter she should be forced to give birth to the child.
In the case of rape victim becoming pregnant, the Humanitarian is adamantly against allowing the victim to have an abortion.
Of course Stevie and those of his ilk do not want to take any responsibility for raising an unwanted child of rape or incest. If justice were truly blind, every unwanted child conceived due to rape or incest should be summarily delivered to Stevie’s home or the home of his moronic followers. Then we’d see how fast Stevie’s opinion would change!
Congrats Stevie; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Humanitarians”; you are far too humble.
