Judge Nick Williams of Chatham, AL; bigoted homophobe

Nicky succeeded in duping the voters in Washington County into electing as probate judge in November 2012 despite the fact that he had absolutely no legal experience of any kind.

Prior to duping the voters, Nicky was employed for 2 years (1997 to 1999) as a midrange shift manage for Sabre Holdings in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Subsequently, he was employed as a safety coordinator for The Mundy Companies for 2 years (2010 to 2012) in Theodore, Alabama.

After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on marriage equality, Nicky went about proving that he was one of Alabama’s Most Extreme Bigots and Homophobes.

After fellow bigot Kim Davis of Kentucky was tossed in jail for contempt of court, Nicky appears that he wishes to follow in her steps in hopes of gaining the same type of notoriety.

Nicky’s educational achievements are as follows:

• Bible Diploma: Rhema Bible Training Center run by Kenneth Hagin Ministries
• BA in Theological Studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University

Nicky’s so-called education clearly demonstrates that he has no business on the bench and more importantly in judgment of anyone.

In a laughable effort to continue to thumb his asinine nose at the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality, Kenny filed a protective order petition with the Alabama Supreme Court seeking relief that would safeguard him others who refuse to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

Nicky’s moronic motion states in part: 

• “The jailing of Kentucky clerk Kimberly B. Davis put at immediate risk the liberty interest of all faithful and religiously sincere public officials in Alabama whose office has responsibility for making decisions as to whether to give sanction and honor to homosexual relationships to include the issuance of a license to engage in sodomy.”

Hopefully a federal judge in Alabama will find Nicky in contempt of court for refusing to follow the law and the oath of office he took. It would be wonderful if the sentencing judge ordered Nicky housed in cell no. 42 at the Washington County jail so he’d be roomed up with Clarice (real name Clarence). Being bunked up with Clarice would likely give Nicky a different outlook on sodomy. 

As we speak (ca. September 2015), Nicky the Bigot continues to sit as a Washington County Probate judge in Chatham, Alabama.
