Attorney William Egger Jr. of San Antonio; thieving loser

The state of Texas presented William C. Egger Jr.  with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The District 10 Grievance Committee found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected three legal matters entrusted to him
  • Failed to keep clients reasonably informed
  • Failed to respond to client information requests
  • Failed to return unearned fees (thief)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)
  • Ordered to pay $4,500 restitution to client (victim)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Billy.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Billy practices in San Antonio, Texas.
