Attorney Ernest Aponte of Atlantic City, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented Ernest A. Aponte with a law license in 2005.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Ernie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain required trust account
• Improperly entered into business transaction with non-attorneys
• Engaged in prohibited fee sharing with non-attorneys
• Failed to act with due diligence
• Engaged in a pattern of neglect
• Failed to maintain professional liability insurance

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Ernie

by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. September 2015) Ernie practices at 1616 Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
