The state of California provided William Charles Cooper with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings Law School.

The California State Bar found Billy guilty of the following misconduct

In one matter, Billy found it acceptable to falsely claim to the California Supreme Court that he was in compliance with his mandatory MCLE (mandatory continuing legal education) requirements when in fact he was not.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
