David Barton: Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Dave. In the past, he has been the recipient of ten (10) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (early September 2015) ride-along and conversation with fellow Screwball Glenn Beck, Dave decided to spew forth his usual dose of lies by defending the lawless actions of Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis.

While expressed sympathy with Davis, he said he could not understand why she has not been fired for refusing to do her job. This led Dave the Bigoted Loon to claim Davis had a right to refuse to issue marriage licenses to gay couples because “the Founding Fathers made it real clear that the laws of God are higher than the laws of man.”

Dave the Loon went on to say:

• “This a law of God.”
• “Man's law is not allowed to contradict God's law."

Of course there is no such thing in the Constitution or Statutes of the United States that makes any reference that God’s law trumps Federal and/or State law.

The sole reason for Dave’s hyperbolic (BS) rant was to play to the fears and bigotry of the intellectually infirm folks that believe his crap.

Congrats Dave; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Lunatics”; you are far too humble.
