Judge Mike Landers of El Dorado, AR; ungrateful loser

In early 2015, Mike had the audacity to sue the Arkansas Retirement System because under Arkansas law he is required to retire at age 70. However, if he is reelected after he turns 70, Arkansas law mandates that he would lose the state retirement benefits that accrued to him while he was on the bench (11 years).

Since it appears that no self-respecting law firm in the Union County area is about to offer Mike a good paying job, his sham lawsuit is demanding that he can stay on the bench until they take him away in a wooden box.

Apparently, Mike believes he should be allowed to remain on the bench until he does, which is exactly what happened to Joseph Woodrough who was still on the bench when he was 104-years-old.  I should think that Mike shouldn’t have any difficulty finding employment as a greeter at the Walmart Store on North West Avenue in El Dorado. And if that doesn’t bear fruit, he can always enroll at the Texarkana Bartending School.

Clearly it’s time for this Judicial Misfit to be put out to pasture in order to wean him from the public trough.

All that’s left now is to see how long it takes for Mike’s frivolous lawsuit to be dismissed.

As we speak (ca. September 2015), Mike continues to sit as a Union County Circuit Court judge in El Dorado, Arkansas.
