Attorney Walter Hennessey of Butte, MT; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Walter M. Hennessey with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Walt guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Mishandled client’s wrongful discharge case
  • Failed to timely communicate with client
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Walt’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. Walt was previously disciplined for numerous ethical violations. In addition, he has additional complaints pending against him.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Walt by gifting her with another complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2015), Walt practices at 49 North Main Street in Butte, Montana.
