Judge David Trickler of Canaseraga, NY; repeat offender

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

Dave’s 1^st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to perform administrative responsibilities
• Failed to report 15 defendants to DMV for failing to pay court-ordered fines as he was required to do
• Failed to report 2 defendants convicted of driving under the influence to DMV
• Failed to report 2 defendants convicted of driving while under the influence of illegal drugs to the DMV
• Failed to notify DMV Commissioner to order suspension of the drivers’ licenses of 43 defendants who failed to appear in court
• Failed to record and issue receipts of fines to at least 7 defendants

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

In one matter, Dave failed to disqualify himself from a harassment case involving two people who lived near his sister’s home and despite the fact that he was present when the incident took place. In short, Dave the Moron remained on the case even though it was obvious that he would likely be called as a witness in the case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Dave by gifting him with another complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. September 2015), Andy continues to sit as a Justice on the burs, Grove and Birdsall Town Courts in New York.
