Attorney Brian Prendergast of Baton Rouge; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented Brian J. Prendergast with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Southern University Law School.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in an impermissible conflict of interest
  • Engaged in an intimate relationship with client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Brian.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Brian practices with The Prendergast Law Firm LLC at 4979 Bluebonnet Blvd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
