The Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society found Debbie guilty of the following misconduct.
Breached code of professional conduct Improperly accepted cash payments from client without claiming the income for her firm through the Canada Revenue Agency (tax cheat) for several years
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nova Scotia Law Disciplinary Board punished Debbie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
