Judge Joe O’Bryan of Cabot, AR; girlfriend abuser

The state of Arkansas presented Joe Harold O’Bryan with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Baylor University Law School.

The Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board ordered that Jeffrey be suspended from the bench without pay for the following reasons.

On August 21, 2015, Joey was arrested and charged with assaulting his girlfriend at a home in Lonoke, Arkansas, when he grabbed her by the throat and threw her onto a table. Joey the Mysoginist was specifically charged with third-degree domestic batter.

Joey assaulted his girlfriend Robin Richard when she attempted to prevent him from driving home because he was drunk. Despite Ms. Richard’s attempt to assure that Joey wasn’t driving under the influence, he thanked her by assaulting her.

After his arrest, Joey was released on a $650 cash bond. All that’s left now is to see how long it takes for Joey to cop a plea.

As we speak (ca. September 2015), Joey continues to sit as a Cabot District Court judge in Cabot, Arkansas.
