State Rep. Sarah LaTourette (OH): Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner
Congratulations to….
State Rep. Sarah LaTourette (OH) Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner
In November 2014, Sarah duped the voters in the Bainbridge, Ohio area (26 miles southeast of Cleveland) into electing her as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives.
Sarah is another lunatic that believes she has an absolute right to impose her so-called morals on every woman in Ohio as it comes to the right to choose.
Sarah is a sponsor of a bill that would make it illegal for a woman carrying a child diagnosed with Down Syndrome to obtain an abortion. Put simply, Sarah and her cadre of like-minded loons in the Ohio House and Senate believe they have the right to tell a mother that she will be compelled by law to give birth to a Down Syndrome baby.
Sarah attempted to justify her loony actions by laughingly claiming that her bill isn’t about abortion but rather discrimination against babies with Down syndrome. In support of her screwy law, Sarah made the following asinine statements:
Maybe Sarah should consider sponsoring a law that would be helpful to all Ohioans, such as making abortions mandatory when it is determined that the fetus will end up being a loony moron like Sarah and those of her ilk.
Its about time that Sarah and her cadre of like-minded loons mind their own damn business and stop trying to tell every woman in Ohio how to live her life.
And lastly, does anyone believe that Sarah would support increasing taxes in Ohio to assure that every Down syndrome baby born according to her law will receive all of the medical care they will require for the balance of their lives? Unfortunately, Sarah’s concern about a Down syndrome baby’s fate ends when it is born!
As we speak (August 2015), Sarah the loon continues to sit as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives.
Congrats Sarah; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Lunatics”; you are far too humble. |
