Attorney Ted Godfrey of Ogden, UT; ethical gremlin

The state of Utah presented Ted K. Godfrey with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Teddy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to adequately consult with his client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Violated or attempted to violate conduct rules, knowingly assist or induce another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to advise client of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Teddy practices at 2668 Grant Avenue in Ogden, Utah.
