Attorney Michael Loveridge of Salt Lake City; ethical goblin

The state of Utah presented Michael R. Loveridge with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Utah Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Breached fiduciary duty owed to client
  • Erroneously advised client that there we no adverse tax consequences of implementing an estate plan

As a consequence of him misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Mike practices at 262 East 3900 Street in Salt Lake City, Utah.
