Attorney Geoffrey Wong of Sacramento; ethical dwarf

The state of California provided Geoffrey Philip Wong with a law license in 1969.

The California State Bar Court found Geoffrey guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter,  Geoffrey settled a personal injury case for $25,000, withholding $7,325 for
 a medical lien. He allowed the balance in his client trust account to fall below that amount, 
however, and paid the lien in four installments from his business account or with cashier’s checks. 

Moreover, Geoffrey admitted that he failed to maintain client funds in a required trust account 
and failed to promptly pay a medical lien. 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Geoffrey by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.
