Sen. Cruz sez: GOP needs to mobilize Biblical Values Vote
In a recent (early August 2015) interview with comedian Tim Wildmon of the Un-American Family Association, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas decided to toss a little red meat to the intellectually feeble folks that tune in to listen to Wildmon’s daily rants.
Teddy’s red meat appetizer involved the upcoming 2016 presidential election and the need for so-called Christians to vote for the GOP nominee. Towards that end, Teddy said:
It is reported that 92 million eligible voters failed to vote in the 2012 presidential election. One must assume that at least 50% (46 million) would have voted for Obama. Therefore, Teddy would have us believe that 54 million of the 92 million eligible voters that didn’t vote were all Evangelical Christians. Such an argument doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test.
Teddy then advised the listeners of the five steps he would take if he were elected president, all of which he would do on his first day in office.
Of course none of these five proclamations will have any remedial effect on improving the economy or creating jobs, which are the primary concerns of most voters.
Teddy further proves that he’s a Monumental Lunatic by claiming that every federal agency is somehow involved in “the persecution of religious liberty.” What he really means is that anyone claiming a religious belief should by law be allowed to discriminate against members of the gay community.
