Rep. Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented dealing with the Koch Brothers. In the past, three (3) articles have been written about them. Those opinions and can be viewed by going to the listed categories at the end of this article.
Charlie and his billionaire David recently (late July 2015) sponsored an event at a lush resort at Dana Point, California which was attended by other like-minded billionaires.
Several GOP presidential aspirants were invited by the Charlie and David to prove that they could be relied upon as compliant lackeys for the Kochs’ right wing agenda.
In an effort to cement his status as an Aspiring Standup Comedian, Charlie told the assembled billionaires:
Of course when Charlie says “life-or-death-struggle for our country” he limits “our” to mean members of the billionaire class that seek to amass even larger fortunes at the expense of “them,” which is of course the working class.
This sham comment of “saving our country” is the same hyperbolic (BS) statements we are accustomed to hearing from an assortment of right-wing bigots. My question to Charlie and those of his ilk would be, “Save our country from what, Charlie?”
If Charlie was given an industrial dose of truth serum, he’d readily admit that his and his brother’s sole purpose in spending $900 million or more on the 2016 election, is to assure that they increase their fortunes by another $30 or $40 billion with the election of a Republican to the White House.
Congrats Charlie; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
