Attorney Edward Heyburn of East Windsor, NJ; repeat offender

 

The state of New Jersey presented Edward Harrington Heyburn with a law license in 1997.

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Eddy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2013

  • Made false or misleading communications re: his services
  • Falsely advertised that he was certified as a specialist when he wasn’t
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Eddy!)
  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Failed to explain matter to extent necessary for client to make informed decisions about the representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Eddy!)
  • Failed to communicate with client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Eddy by gifting him with another complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. August 2015) Eddy practices in East Windsor, New Jersey.
