Judge Charles Hunter of Beech Grove, IN; arrogant loser

The state of Indiana presented Charles W. Hunter with a law license in 1950 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.

The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

Charlie was involved in an incident involving a complaint filed by Charity Bryan who is confined to a wheelchair with a local news reporter about her husband receiving a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot without a placard. Mr. Bryan did in fact have a handicap placard but forgot to place it in the windshield area.

While the newspaper was doing an investigation of the matter, the reporter found Charlie waiting to get into a vehicle that was parked in a handicapped spot without a placard. Charlie then made inappropriate commented to the reporter when questioned about the matter.

The back and forth between Charlie and the reporter went like this:

Reporter:  “Are you aware that you don’t have a disabled placard and you’re parked in a handicapped space?”

Charlie:  “Yes.”

During the questioning, Charlie’s son retrieved the handicapped placard from the visor and placed it on the rearview mirror. When the reporter suggested that Mr. and Mrs. Bryan faced the same situation, the following colloquy took place.

Charlie:  “I didn’t get a ticket,, did I?”

Reporter:  “So, it’s just their bad luck for having gotten a ticket?”

Charlie:  “I guess so, year.”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Charlie continues to sit as a Beech Grove City Court Judge in Beech Grove, Indiana.
