Attorney Paul Vincent of Waxahachie, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Paul T. Vincent with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University Law School.

The District Grievance Committee found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to appear at court’s final hearing to set trial date
• Failed to comply with client requests for information
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Paulie!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Paulie.
