Attorney David Castillo of Laredo; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented David Castillo with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from St. Mary’s College of Law.

The District Grievance Committee found Dave guilty of the following misconduct

  • Neglected a client matter that was entrusted to him
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 16-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Tommy.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Dave is employed by the Federal Public Defender’s Office at 1202 Houston Street in Laredo, Texas.
