Attorney Karyn Thomas of Dallas; ethical elf

The state of Texas presented Karyn Alexia Thomas with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from Washburn University Law School.

The District Grievance Committee found Karyn guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client requests for information
• Failed to respond to ethics complaint (Up yours, said Karyn!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Karyn by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Karyn.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Karyn practices at 3102 Maple Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
