Attorney Michele Rocawich of Chicago; serial shoplifter

The state of Illinois presented Michele Mary Rocawich with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from

Chicago-Kent College of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Michele guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter,Michele was arrested for shoplifting and destruction of property in a Saks Fifth Avenue department store. She was subsequen tly charged with criminal damage to property for harming three dresses valued in excess of $150 and retail theft of a skirt valued at less than $150.

In a second matter, Michele was arrested and charged with retail theft of lotion, barrettes and candy from a Carson Pirie Scott and Company department store. She was subsequently sentenced to probation for a period of one year, assessed a fine of $90 and ordered Respondent to complete a psychiatric evaluation through the probation department and follow its recommendations.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Michele by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Michele.

As we speak (February 2017), Michele practices with the Law Office Of Michele Rocawich at 534 West Brompton in Chicago, Illinois.
