Judge Sheva Sims of Shreveport, LA; bullying loser

The state of Louisiana presented Sheva Meshawn Sims with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from Southern University Law School.

In November 2011, Sheva duped the voters in Shreveport into electing her as a judge on the Shreveport City Court.

The Commission on Judicial Performance found Judge Sheva guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sheva improperly held assistant prosecutor Katherine Gilmer in contempt of court when Gilmer refused to meet with Sheva in her chambers.

Arrogant Sheva subsequently announced that Gilmer was being held in contempt of court and dismissed 15 criminal cases Ms. Gilmer was handling on behalf of the City Attorney for the City of Shreveport.

Chief Justice Bernette Joshua Johnson said in the court’s ruling that Sheva acted out in court on personal grievances she had against Ms. Gilmer. The Chief justice went on to say:

“Judge Sims created adverse publicity prejudicial to the administration of justice and caused damage to the perceived independence, integrity, and impartiality of the Shreveport City Court and of the judiciary as a whole.”

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Sheva by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Judge Sims continue to sit on the Shreveport City Court.
