Attorney Arthur Chase of Bellaire, TX; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas presented Arthur Scot Chase with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from University of Houston School of Law.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Art guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client’s case
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to return client file upon being terminated
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Art!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Art practices his brand of law with the Law Office of A. Scot Chase at 6575 West Loop Street in Bellaire, Texas.
