Attorney Thomas O’Connor of Chicago; convicted drunk

The state of Illinois presented Thomas McGrath O’Connor with a law license in 1999.

Disciplinary Counsel found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tommy was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to comply with the conditions of supervision imposed following that conviction, resulting in additional court proceedings and his eventual resentencing.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Tommy.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Tommy practices with the Law Offices of Thomas O’Connor at 1008 East 54th Street in Chicago, Illinois.

Caution: Tommy is not covered by legal malpractice insurance
