Attorney Angelo Ruggiero of River Forest, IL; convict

The state of Illinois presented Angelo Ruggiero with a law license in 1960 after he graduated from the John Marshal Law School in Chicago.

The Disciplinary Commission found Angelo guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Angelo was convicted of criminal contempt for disobeying and resisting court orders in an attempt to conceal his ownership of certain assets in proceedings to enforce a judgment against him for failing to repay a $200,000 bank loan.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Angelo by gifting him with a stayed complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Angelo practices at 1438 Lathrop Avenue in River Forest, Illinois.
