Attorney Joel Runkle of Grayslake, IL; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented Joel Clark Runkle with a law license in 1992.

The Disciplinary Commission found Joel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Mishandled client funds
• Neglected a client’s legal matter
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to advise client of rate or basis for his fee within reasonable time

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joel by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Joel practices at 646 Lincoln Avenue in Grayslake, Illinois.
