Attorney John Brock of Eclectic, AL; ethical gremlin

The state of Alabama presented John Gordon Brock a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the Jones School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal

  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to appear on client’s behalf at scheduled court hearing in probate matter
  • Found in contempt of court, fined and sentenced to 1-day in jail

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Johnny practices at 184 Fourth Retreat in Eclectic, Alabama.
