Attorney Dagney Johnson of Birmingham, AL; ethical elf

The state of Alabama presented Dagney Johnson with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Dagney guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain client or third party funds in trust account
• Used client funds for personal use
• Failed to maintain a proper office trust account
• Failed to refund improperly drawn funds from client account for several months

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Dagney by gifting her with a complimentary 91-day suspension of her law license. 

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Dagney practices at 2533 Montevallo Drive in Birmingham, Alabama.
