Attorney Jeffrey Flagg of West Des Moines, IA; ethical gremlin

The state of Iowa presented Jeffrey Grant Flagg with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Prepared guilty plea for client w/o client’s consent
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Client unaware of Jeff’s entry of guilty plea
• Misled trial court

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
