Former Judge Michelle Scott of Indianapolis; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana presented Michelle Smith Scott with a law license in 1995.

Up until late 2014,l Michelle was a sitting Center Township Small Claims Judge; however, she resigned from the bench when questions arose about using court services in order to promote and/or her private wedding business.

Call 6 TV in Indianapolis used a hidden camera at the City-County Bldg and found public employees handing out business cards for Michelle’s wedding business. At the same time, the employees were directing folks to Michelle’s private office, which is located one block from the City-County Bldg.

Nothing like having the taxpayers pick up part of the tab for running a personal business. Yes indeedy, private business subsidized by the taxpayers is what makes Indiana a great country.

As of late June 2015, there is no indication that the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission will take any action against Michelle’s law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Michelle practices her brand of law at 120 East Market Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
