Attorney Gregory Schell of Philadelphia; repeat offender

The state of Pennsylvania presented Gregory L. Schell with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Allowed matter involving insurance settlement agreement to linger for 10 years
  • Failed to inform client of settlement offer from Depart of Public Welfare (DPW) in regards to end-of-life treatments provided to client’s wife
  • Over an eight-year period of time, DPW sent written communications to Greg that he never responded too

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Greg’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received an informal admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Greg practices with Gregory L. Schell LLC at 230 South Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
