Attorney Andre Michniak of Philadelphia; lying loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Andre Michniak with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from Temple University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Andre guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding representation
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to advise client in writing that he was not covered by legal malpractice insurance
• Failed to deposit client funds in proper trust account
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests after representation ceased
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Knowingly made a false statement to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Andre!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Andre by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Andre practices with Andre Michniak & Associates PC at 215 South Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
