Attorney David Moorhead of Boulder, CO; reckless Dumbo

The state of Colorado provided David Eric Moorhead with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Recklessly failed to represent client in competent manner (Dumbo)
• Failed to timely file motion to suppress
• Failed to move for continuance despite not having spoken to any witnesses
• Failed to have regular contact with client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Dave practices with The Moorhead Law Group at 1919 14^th Street in Boulder, Colorado.
