Attorney Emily Marrs of Aurora, CO; convicted druggie

The state of Colorado provided Emily Anne Marrs with a law license in 2000.

The Colorado State Bar found Emily guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Emily knowingly submitted a fraudulent prescription to a pharmacy for ninety pills of Percocet. Investigation by the police revealed that respondent had created fraudulent prescriptions on her home computer and had submitted them to obtain Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Diazepam on several occasions.

Subsequently, Emily pled guilty to one count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit, a class 5 felony.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Emily by gifting her with a complimentary 4-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Emily practices at 950 South Newark Place in Aurora, Colorado.

Warning: Emily does not carry legal malpractice insurance
